Mammography Grading

Breast ultrasound grading is generally referred to as breast BI-RADS grading, is artificially based on the size, shape, activity, smoothness, blood flow and growth rate of breast nodules, and other factors, a comprehensive assessment of the subsequent treatment modalities, or review to provide guidance for the significance of the grades. From no lesions to benign lesions to malignant tumors, a total of 0-6 grades can be divided into the following situations: Grade 0, considered as an error in the examination needs to be recalled, combined with other tests and then assessed. 1 grade, most of the abnormalities were not found, and is considered to be a normal situation. 2 grade, considered to be a benign lesion, it is recommended to follow up on a regular basis, usually once a year. 3 grade, the benign disease is likely to be larger, but the need to shorten the follow-up cycle, generally less than 2% of the total number of malignant nodules, the percentage of malignant nodules. The proportion of malignancy is usually less than 2%. Grade 4, malignant lesions are considered to be more likely, and pathological biopsy is needed to clarify the nature. grade 5, malignant lesions are suspected, or can be recognized as malignant diseases, and surgical resection and pathological examination are needed to treat malignant diseases. grade 6: malignant lesions have been diagnosed after pathological examination.
