Tubalography can be done in a few days after having intercourse on the day of the end of menstruation, and it is suggested that it is best to avoid sexual intercourse during the period of about 3-7 days after the end of menstruation. The so-called tubal imaging usually refers to women who have not been pregnant for a long time and need to have a local examination of the fallopian tubes to confirm whether the tubes are open or not. Generally speaking, the test can be considered when the routine examination of the leukorrhea 3 to 7 days after menstruation shows no abnormality. Tubal imaging is usually injected into the fallopian tubes and followed by x-rays. As the contrast medium passes through the uterine cavity into the fallopian tubes, if the tubes are blocked, the contrast medium does not pass through smoothly, and the high pressure in the fallopian tubes causes localized overexpansion, this can lead to painful side effects for the patient. Therefore, women should have the tubal imaging examination about 3-7 days after the end of menstruation, avoid sexual intercourse before and after the examination, and pay attention to keeping the perineum clean and hygienic.
