It is possible to use Yunnan Baiyao after an abrasion. If the wound is bleeding and exuding, you can apply Yunnan Baiyao powder to the wound after disinfection to stop the bleeding. If the wound is less exuding or bleeding, you can disinfect the wound with iodophor instead. After disinfection with iodophor, a band-aid or sterile dressing should be applied to prevent external bacteria from invading the wound surface and causing inflammation. If the wound is inflamed, it will be red, swollen, painful, oozing, or even pus-filled.
