What to do if the virus is high in hepatitis B carriers

Hepatitis B virus carriers with high viral load should be further evaluated for liver function, liver ultrasound and liver fibrosis scan, these tests are normal indicating that hepatitis B is currently not causing harm to the body, the body is a healthy carrier state, currently can be treated without any medication, as long as the above tests are done every six months. If liver function abnormalities occur, liver preservation and enzyme reduction treatment is required, and after liver preservation liver function is still repeatedly abnormal, antiviral treatment is required. If the liver fibrosis scan suggests a value greater than 11 kPa, it is recommended that a liver biopsy be performed for evaluation. If the liver ultrasound suggests the presence of liver surface indentation, uneven echogenicity, nodular hyperplasia and other manifestations of cirrhosis, antiviral therapy must be taken regardless of whether the liver function is normal or not.
