Iodine complex, also known as iodophor, has a bactericidal effect and can kill bacteria and fungi in nature, including budding spores, and is generally used to disinfect skin wounds. It can be used for disinfection of surgical incisions before surgery, generally by wiping the skin 2 times. It can also be used for disinfection and dressing change on the wound surface after surgery, with a routine wipe 2 times, ranging from 3-5 cm. It can also be used for the disinfection of mucous membrane and perineal wounds, without irritation to the mucous membrane and perineum and without causing pain. If the wound becomes infected after surgery, complex iodine can also be used to disinfect the inside of the wound.
