Adverse reactions such as nausea, dry mouth, lack of appetite, and excessive sweating may occur after administration, and caution should be exercised in patients with bleeding tendencies. Children and adolescents under 18 years of age, as well as those who are allergic to this drug, are prohibited from using this medicine. This drug is not recommended to be combined with alcohol. It is forbidden to use escitalopram in combination with pimozide, monoamine oxidase inhibitors and other drugs. The drug should be discontinued gradually over a period of 1 to 2 weeks as prescribed by the doctor to avoid withdrawal symptoms.
