3D printing technology promotes advances in oncology treatment. Firstly, by providing highly accurate, fast and relatively low-cost synthetic implants that are much more precise than hand-built ones, and secondly, by providing high-precision artificial models that will be particularly helpful for simulated positioning in radiation therapy and simulated fine dissection of key areas prior to surgical procedures.
