What Causes Flatulence

Flatulence is mainly considered to be caused by intestinal flora dysbiosis, intestinal obstruction and gastroenteritis.
1. Intestinal flora dysbiosis: when the patient’s intestinal flora dysbiosis, intestinal dysfunction occurs, which can easily cause flatulence.
2. Intestinal obstruction: when patients have intestinal obstruction, the obstacle of discharging intestinal contents will cause excessive peristalsis of the intestines, which will cause intestinal flatulence.
3. Gastroenteritis: when the patient has gastroenteritis, the intestinal contents will accumulate, and the bacteria will cause the intestines to produce a large amount of fermentation gas, forming intestinal flatulence, accompanied by severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness and other discomforts.
In addition, consuming too much gas-producing food, poorly digested food, and catching cold in the abdomen can also cause intestinal flatulence. It is recommended to go to the hospital in time, complete the examination to clarify the cause of the disease, and then give targeted treatment or therapy under the guidance of the doctor.
