Difference between joint fluid and joint effusion

What the common people often refer to as joint effusion is actually what is clinically known as joint effusion. Joint effusion is mainly due to joint inflammation such as synovitis, tuberculous joint effusion, rheumatoid joint effusion, etc., trauma, such as traumatic joint effusion and other reasons for the increase in fluid in the joint cavity. The main manifestations are swelling, pain, and limitation of movement. Treatment includes medication such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as indomethacin, diclofenac sodium extended-release tablets, joint cavity drug injection such as sodium vitrate, etc. Surgical treatments such as arthroplasty and lesion debridement can be taken if necessary. In case of joint effusion, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for regular treatment under the doctor’s guidance. The above medications should be applied under the guidance of a doctor or pharmacist to avoid adverse reactions.
