What happened to the positive ovulation test before menstruation?

A positive ovulation test before menstruation means that there are mature follicles discharging. Follicles discharging is related to the hormone level in a woman’s body, which can indicate abnormal ovulation when the test paper is out of date or has false positives, mostly due to irregular menstruation in women. If a woman has a normal menstrual cycle, she will usually ovulate about 14 days before her next menstrual period, during the first five days and the last five days, when ovulation may occur. If a woman’s menstrual cycle is irregular, premenstrual ovulation may occur, and there is also the possibility of accidental ovulation, i.e. ovulation that is not within the range of calculation, and therefore the possibility of a positive ovulation test before the menstrual period may occur. In addition, frequent late nights, improper diet, taking birth control pills or sex hormone drugs can cause abnormal ovulation and result in a positive ovulation test. Ovulation is easy to conceive, so if a woman does not have a requirement to have children for the time being, it is better to take more reliable and exact contraceptive measures, such as wearing condoms or using IUDs, and it is not recommended to use safe period contraceptive methods.
