Urethral pain after circumcision may be caused by over-tightening of the bandage, edema of the urethra or injury or inflammation. After circumcision in order to prevent bleeding need to add pressure bandage, bandage can appear lymphatic reflux or venous reflux obstruction, the urethra can appear edema, if the tension is relatively large plus friction stimulation may be accompanied by pain. If the urethra is irritated by repeated friction, it can lead to urethral injury, and if the breakage is secondary to infection, redness, swelling, pain, and discharge from the urethra can occur. Urethral pain caused by simple edema will be gradually relieved with the elimination of edema; pain caused by inflammation and injury needs to be treated with iodophor disinfection or topical erythromycin ointment under the guidance of a physician.
