The blood routine of cancer patients may also be normal. Most cancer patients may have decreased white blood cells, anemia and other manifestations, in which case the blood routine may not be normal. However, after treatment, cancer patients may have no abnormal blood routine, so we cannot judge the recovery of cancer by whether the blood routine is normal or not. Generally, in addition to blood count, tumor marker test, liver and kidney function test and imaging test should be combined to understand the development of cancer disease. Blood routine needs to be monitored regularly during the course of radiotherapy and chemotherapy for cancer patients, usually 1-2 times a week. If there is bone marrow suppression such as decreasing white blood cells and decreasing platelets, it is possible that radiotherapy and chemotherapy need to be suspended and oral treatment such as raising white blood cells is needed at the same time.
