What about neurospecific enolase 17.07?

Neurospecific enolase 17.07 should be further examined according to the patient’s symptoms to exclude related tumors, if there is no other abnormality, the simple high level has no special significance.

Neuro-specific enolase is one of the tumor markers, which is overexpressed in small cell lung cancer and neuroendocrine tumors, generally less than 16.3μg/ml, 17.07μg/ml is high.

Elevated neurospecific enolase alone cannot diagnose neuroendocrine tumors and lung cancer, and only a significant elevation will have some reference value for the above tumors.

Patients should take further examination according to relevant symptoms to exclude relevant tumors, such as chest CT and cranial magnetic resonance examination, for early diagnosis. If there are no relevant symptoms and auxiliary examinations are negative, high neu-specific enolase has no special significance.
