A buzzing ear from a slap on the wrist will heal after a week or so of regular treatment. Trauma to the ear can affect the inner ear mucosa congestion, edema, inner ear membrane cell damage can cause hearing loss, ear stuffiness, ear buzzing, etc., such as the heavier hit can cause perforation of the eardrum. After ear trauma causing the above symptoms need to be treated actively, continue to give anti-inflammatory treatment, such as oral cephalexin, oral hormone prednisone to reduce the edema of the inner ear mucosa, or give energy synergist, such as ATP, etc. If the tympanic membrane perforation is not healed after four weeks of active treatment, then tympanic membrane repair can be considered.
