Zopiclone does not usually cause leukopenia.
Zopiclone is a sleeping pill that has a sedative-hypnotic effect, a muscle relaxant effect, and is used to treat various types of insomnia. The use of this product should not exceed 4 weeks of continuous use and should not be stopped abruptly. Abrupt discontinuation can produce discontinuation syndrome, as well as drowsiness, bitter mouth, dry mouth, muscle weakness, and in some cases confusion, weakness, nausea, vomiting, and other adverse effects.
Zopiclone does not generally cause hematologic disorders, so it does not generally cause leukopenia.
It is contraindicated in people who are allergic to the drug, patients with decompensated respiratory insufficiency, patients with myasthenia gravis, severe sleep apnea syndrome.
The drug should be taken under the supervision of a physician, as an overdose can lead to impaired consciousness and coma, hypotension and respiratory depression. This product can cause serious effects on liver and kidney function, such as drowsiness and fatigue.
