Yellow and greasy tongue, dampness and heat need to be treated after identification. Liver and gallbladder damp-heat syndrome: manifested by pain in the ribs and wounds, bitter taste in the mouth, abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, yellow urine, jaundice and other symptoms. Treatment should clear away heat and eliminate dampness, and Longdian Diarrhea Liver Tang can be used. 2. Damp-heat syndrome of spleen and stomach: manifested as abdominal distension, loss of appetite, upset, nausea, bitter taste in mouth, thirst for water, abdominal pain and diarrhea, and yellow-brown smelly stool, etc. The treatment should be clearing heat and inducing dampness. Treatment should clear away heat and eliminate dampness, and Ganlu Sterilizing Dan can be used. 3. Damp-heat bladder syndrome: manifested by small amount of urine with yellow color, frequent urination, urinary urgency, burning sensation of urination, painful urination, blood in urine, fever, thirst and other symptoms. It can be treated with Bazheng San. The presence of yellowish tongue, dampness and heat should be regulated under the guidance of doctor’s diagnosis.
