The symptoms of spinal ligamentitis are twofold: first, pain. The pain is a limited pain in the ligament traveling area. Spinal ligaments travel from the cervical vertebrae all the way to the sacral vertebrae, along the spinous processes of the spine, and spinal ligamentitis occurs in the cervical region, the thoracic region, or the lumbar region, and when ligamentitis occurs there is ligamentous pain in these regions. Secondly, activity limitation. When it occurs in the cervical spine, it can lead to limited neck movement, especially when the head is bowed. If it occurs in the thoracic and lumbar spine, it will result in the restriction of thoracic and lumbar movement, especially when bending over, the restriction of movement is very obvious. So, there are two symptoms of spinal ligamentitis: one, pain; and two, limited movement.
