Primary intracranial tumors can occur at any age with an incidence rate of about 1/10,000, while about 20-30% of malignant tumors from other sites will eventually metastasize into the skull and form secondary intracranial tumors. Intracranial tumors, whether benign or malignant, as long as they reach a certain volume, will cause intracranial pressure to rise, compressing brain tissue and leading to central nervous damage and life-threatening. Since the causes of the vast majority of intracranial tumors are not yet clear, they cannot be prevented yet. Only early detection and early treatment may improve the effectiveness of treatment.
