The fishy smell of the secretions requires first consideration of whether there is gynecological inflammation, and of course the possibility of cancer cannot be ruled out. You need to go to the hospital as soon as possible for a routine examination of the leukorrhea to see if there is vaginal inflammation. The types of vaginitis that may have a fishy odor include trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginosis. If it is these two types of inflammation, it needs to be cured by external washing with lotion, vaginal topical metronidazole vaginal effervescent tablets, metronidazole vaginal gel, one week of medication and three days of stopping, and going to check the leucorrhoea routine. Also, women who are sexually active need to be checked for cervical TCT and HPV to see if there are any cervical lesions. If there are lesions of the cervix, or even cervical cancer, there may also be a fishy smell of the discharge.
