Biliary polyps are mostly referred to as gallbladder polyps, for which there is no specific drug available for treatment and medication is usually not taken. For this disease, the conventional treatment is based on general treatment, intensive observation and surgical treatment.
1. General treatment: In daily life, we should eat a light diet, avoiding spicy and stimulating foods, cold and greasy foods; regular work and rest, and avoid staying up late.
2. Enhanced observation: For asymptomatic patients with polyps <10mm in diameter, follow-up observation is the mainstay for the time being, and gallbladder ultrasound needs to be checked regularly.
3. Surgery: For patients with symptoms such as biliary colic, polyp diameter >10mm or combined with gallstones, laparoscopic cholecystectomy can be used as appropriate treatment.
Patients have different conditions and should seek medical treatment if they feel unwell.
