What causes a high school student’s stomach to hurt at night

High school students with stomach pain at night may be acute appendicitis, kidney stones, cholecystitis, acute gastroenteritis, duodenal ulcer and other diseases.
1. Acute appendicitis: abdominal pain, fatigue, nausea, fever and other symptoms are common. Abdominal pain usually begins at the umbilicus, is intermittent, and gradually shifts to the right lower abdomen.
2. Kidney stones: Abdominal pain is a sudden onset, colicky pain located in the lumbar or epigastric region, which may radiate to the lower abdomen, groin and other parts of the body.
3. Cholecystitis: right upper abdominal pain starts as paroxysmal colic and gradually develops into continuous distension, often after a full meal or eating greasy food.
4. Acute gastroenteritis: most of them have a history of unclean food and drink, manifested as epigastric colic, which is caused by spasm of smooth muscle of gastrointestinal tract.
5. Duodenal ulcer: abdominal pain is typical of nocturnal pain, abdominal pain, mostly occurring in the early morning, daytime symptoms are not obvious.
There are other causes of abdominal pain at night (such as acute pancreatitis, etc.), it is recommended that high school patients with abdominal pain at night go to a regular hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor to standardize the treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
