How to Improve Large and Small Eyes

Large and small eyes are mostly caused by heredity, ptosis, etc. Patients can be treated with medication and surgery to improve their appearance.
If a patient has a single eyelid in one eye and double eyelids in the other due to hereditary factors, the patient may appear to have large or small eyes from the outside, and generally does not need special treatment. If the patient pursues aesthetic appeal, blepharoplasty can be performed on the single eyelid eye, turning both eyes into double eyelids, thus improving the appearance of large and small eyes.
Patients with age-related skin laxity can develop ptosis, which can lead to large or small eyes. Surgery, such as ptosis correction, can be performed to improve the appearance of the eyes. Patients with congenital ptosis can also improve their appearance with surgical treatments such as levator aponeurotomy.
Facial nerve palsy can also lead to ptosis, which generally does not require surgical treatment, but can be treated with medications such as methylcobalamin tablets and dexamethasone as prescribed by the doctor to improve symptoms.
It is recommended that patients with bilateral asymmetry seek medical attention to evaluate their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
