What is Siroda?

Xyroda is a prescription drug whose main ingredient is capecitabine and whose primary role is for adjuvant chemotherapy. Capecitabine is indicated for patients with stage C colon cancer who require treatment with fluoropyrimidines after radical primary tumor resection. Capecitabine may be used in combination with doxorubicin in the treatment of metastatic breast cancer that has failed chemotherapy with an anthracycline-containing regimen. Capecitabine can also be used alone for the treatment of chemotherapy resistant to both paclitaxel and anthracycline-containing chemotherapy regimens. Capecitabine is indicated for the first-line treatment of advanced or metastatic gastric cancer without surgery. It is a chemotherapeutic agent for the treatment of advanced malignant tumors.
