Is it normal to have a blood pressure of 154-94 at night?

A nighttime blood pressure of 154-94, which is generally defined as a diastolic blood pressure of 94 mmHg and a systolic blood pressure of 154 mmHg, is generally abnormal and suggests that you may be in a state of grade 1 (mild) hypertension, but you will need to monitor your blood pressure continuously to determine this.
Hypertension is defined as a systolic blood pressure of ≥140 mmHg and/or a diastolic blood pressure of ≥90 mmHg, with grade 1 (mild) hypertension defined as a systolic blood pressure between 140 and 159 mmHg and/or a diastolic blood pressure between 90 and 99 mmHg. Therefore, numerically speaking, a diastolic blood pressure of 94 mmHg at night and a systolic blood pressure of 154 mmHg are abnormal, and fall into the category of grade 1 hypertension.
However, if only 1 blood pressure measurement results for the evening blood pressure 154-94mmHg, it does not reflect the body’s true blood pressure status, but also need to monitor the blood pressure, so that the person whose blood pressure is measured in a quiet state, non-same day at least three times the measurement of blood pressure, in order to have a basic judgment.
If abnormal blood pressure is found, it is recommended to consult a doctor in a timely manner, follow the doctor’s instructions for examination and treatment, do not take medication without authorization.
