Can thyroid-related eye disease be cured?

Thyroid-related ophthalmopathy is currently a treatment problem both nationally and internationally, and there is no particularly effective way to treat hyperthyroidism. The current treatment for thyroid-related eye disease in China is mainly high-dose hormone shock therapy, which can only improve hyperthyroidism in some patients, but not cure or cure. In some patients, oral hormones plus immunosuppressants have been clinically effective in treating hyperthyroidism. The use of post-bulbar radiotherapy or surgery is actually aimed at reducing the damage to the optic nerve of hyperthyroidism, and cannot fundamentally solve the problem of hyperthyroidism, so there is no cure or treatment.
