Can a normal urinary ACR rule out kidney disease?

Normal urine ACR usually does not exclude kidney disease.
Urine ACR refers to the ratio of urine albumin to urine creatinine, which can effectively reflect the protein in urine. This kind of test can reflect the severity of kidney disease to a certain extent, but in the case of normal urine ACR, kidney disease can not be ruled out completely.
This is mainly because some chronic kidney diseases may have the problem of capillary wrinkling. The glomerular filtration function in this case is not damaged, so proteinuria may not occur. So to find out the kidney disease, routine urinalysis, renal function, ultrasonography, intravenous urography and so on are also needed.
If patients need to clarify the existence of kidney disease, it is recommended to go to regular hospitals in time, and have the test results prescribed and evaluated by professional doctors.
