Adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) refers to the emergency resuscitation measures for adults in sudden cardiac arrest, including the use of cardiac compression to form a temporary blood circulation and artificial respiration to replace the patient’s spontaneous respiration, the specific process is as follows: 1. Quickly determine the patient’s condition, if the patient’s sudden loss of consciousness, respiratory arrest, or just a sigh of respiration, it can be confirmed that the patient has suffered a cardiac arrest. 2. Seek help, call for help, and dial 120 emergency. 3. Call for help, call out to others to help, and call the 120 emergency number. 3. After confirming your own safety, start cardiac compression and artificial respiration. Put the patient on a flat floor or a hardboard bed, first regular and powerful chest compressions for 30 times, then clean up the patient’s mouth and nasal cavity, open the airway, and mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration for 2 times. Each cycle consists of 30 chest compressions and 2 artificial respirations. 5 cycles are judged after about 2 minutes, and if resuscitation is unsuccessful, resuscitation will continue until resuscitation is successful or first aiders arrive to take over the resuscitation. Professional first responders CPR will take more advanced measures such as defibrillation with electric shocks, endotracheal intubation, going on a ventilator, and applying resuscitation drugs.
