Anti-Ro-52 antibody is a type of autoantibody, if positive, it indicates the presence of autoimmune disorders related to the disease. Anti-Ro-52 antibodies are not highly specific and do not identify a particular disease, but can only be used as an adjunctive test for reference. Anti-Ro-52 antibodies are associated with dry syndrome, diffuse scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis, polymyositis, and primary biliary cirrhosis. When a simple positive anti-Ro-52 antibody is detected, the diagnosis is not certain and should be further confirmed by combining clinical symptoms and the results of other auxiliary tests (anti-SSA antibody, anti-SSB antibody). Patients with positive anti-Ro-52 antibodies should go to the rheumatology department of a regular hospital to complete the relevant examinations, identify the cause of the disease, and give targeted treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
