Enhanced CT can detect common diseases of the intestine, such as intestinal inflammation, intestinal malformation, intestinal perforation, intestinal tumor, intestinal ischemia and other diseases. The presence of intestinal gas can be caused by diseases such as incomplete intestinal obstruction, functional colonic disease or when constipation is present are prone to intestinal gas. In addition to the use of enhanced CT for further confirmation, the patient can also take a standing plain film of the abdomen or an electronic colonoscopy to further confirm the cause of the pneumoperitoneum. If the patient usually accompanied by some other physical symptoms, such as diarrhea, blood in the stool, black stool, abdominal pain and other symptoms, it is recommended that the patient as soon as possible to the hospital for further examination.
