Can endometrial hyperplasia heal on its own?

Endometrial hyperplasia does not heal on its own. Simple endometrial hyperplasia is a benign lesion. If combined with endometrial atypical hyperplasia, it may have a certain tendency to become cancerous and must be treated if it occurs. Endometrial atypical hyperplasia is a pre-cancerous lesion, but the majority of endometrial hyperplasia is a reversible lesion or remains in a persistent benign state, while in a few cases it may develop into cancer after a longer period of time. Therefore, once endometrial hyperplasia is detected, it must be treated in a timely manner because of its non-self-healing nature, and if treatment is delayed, cancer is likely to occur. In addition, abnormal hormone levels in women are the most important cause of endometrial hyperplasia. Hormonal drugs can be taken to help regulate the normal endocrine function of women to maintain their health. Patients with endometrial hyperplasia should be treated as early as possible and reviewed regularly to observe the progress of the disease, and if necessary, surgery can be performed.
