The development of fibrotic lung can usually be caused by diseases such as connective tissue disease, allergic pneumonia or viral pneumonia.
1. Connective tissue disease: refers to diseases involving connective tissue, such as systemic lupus erythematosus, dry syndrome, etc. When the lungs are involved, it will lead to diffuse hemorrhage of the alveoli as well as lung infections, which will then develop into fibrotic lung.
2. Allergic Pneumonia: Due to long-term smoking or long-term exposure to dust, a large number of harmful substances are inhaled into the lungs, leading to the appearance of multiple nodules in both lungs, streaks and other symptoms, resulting in the appearance of allergic pneumonitis, early symptoms are not obvious, and after a certain period of time, interstitial fibrosis exists in the lungs, thus leading to fibrotic lungs.
3. Viral infections: adenovirus, influenza virus, measles virus, etc. can lead to necrotizing bronchitis and bronchopneumonia, which can easily develop into fibrotic lung due to the long duration of the disease.
Pulmonary fibrosis will lead to dry cough, dizziness, progressive dyspnea, purple lips and nails, etc. Patients with these symptoms are advised to seek medical attention in time to avoid delay.
