Positive sialidase suggests bacterial vaginitis, the main pathogenic microorganisms for a variety of anaerobic bacteria and Gardnerella infections, due to excessive use of detergents to wash the vagina, resulting in a loss of balance of the normal bacterial flora of the vagina, resulting in infection in the vagina. Sialidase is secreted by pathogenic microorganisms and released into the leukorrhea, which can be used as a diagnostic aid. If the clinical symptoms are typical and the test results are positive for sialidase, the diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis can be confirmed. If the clinical symptoms are not typical, the diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis cannot be confirmed simply by a positive sialidase result, but can be combined with the examination of pathogenic microorganisms and the leukocyte esterase test to confirm the diagnosis. If the diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis is confirmed, the patient can be given sensitive antibiotics for anti-inflammatory treatment.
