Gynecological Metronidazole Tablets Actions and Uses

Metronidazole tablets, a commonly used gynecological drug, are nitroimidazole derivatives that inhibit the growth of trichomonas and anaerobic microorganisms and are commonly used in clinical practice for the treatment of trichomonas vaginitis and bacterial vaginitis. The medication is administered as follows: Metronidazole 2g, single oral dose or 400mg, twice daily for 7 days, oral treatment. Occasionally gastrointestinal reactions such as loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting may occur after administration of the drug, so it is recommended to take it orally after meals. There will also be occasional dizziness, skin rash, and leukopenia. If these symptoms occur, the drug needs to be discontinued immediately. The cure rate of oral medication is 90%-95%. Also, alcohol is prohibited during the medication and within 24 hours of discontinuation, and the medication cannot be nursed during breastfeeding.
