It is recommended to go to the hospital for further examination to clarify the possible causes: 1. Urethral polyps combined with infection can appear as burning and stinging pain in the urethra, accompanied by local polyp-like changes, bleeding from the urethra and other symptoms, further physical examination around the urethra or local bacterial smear is needed to confirm the diagnosis. 2. Sexually transmitted diseases, such as gonorrhea or non-gonococcal urethritis can appear. 3. Urethral stones, especially anterior urethral stones in men can cause burning and stinging pain at the urethra or blood dripping from the urethra, and can be accompanied by difficulty in urination or bifurcation of urine. Urethroscopy is needed to further rule out the presence of urethral stones.
