Pulmonary sclerosis is a hardening of the lungs with fibrosis. It is usually a serious and irreversible pathology, the most common being idiopathic diffuse interstitial fibrosis of the lungs, the cause of which is still unknown and may be related to autoimmune dysfunction. Patients with pulmonary sclerosis have no obvious symptoms in the early stages, mainly presenting with dyspnea, dry cough, and little sputum after activity, and in the advanced stages, mainly presenting with significant shortness of breath. Linear and nodular fibrosis in the lungs is usually observed by imaging. Some patients do not take any therapeutic measures, may have heart failure and lung failure, and finally lead to multi-organ failure and death, at this point is a very serious disease. If the patient develops pulmonary sclerosis, it is recommended to seek medical treatment in time, after clear examination and under the guidance of the doctor.
