Talking about female anemia and self-care

We often hear people say: I have anemia. Indeed, anemia is very common in our lives. What is anemia? Anemia refers to a low number of red blood cells in the blood and a lower than normal concentration of hemoglobin (hemoglobin). According to relevant research results, a normal adult has about five liters of blood, with about four million red blood cells per milliliter of blood, and the life span of red blood cells is about 120 days. According to the above data, there are 16 billion red blood cells decaying in normal adults every day. In other words, 16 billion new red blood cells have to be generated every day to maintain the balance of red blood cell count in a normal adult. If, for various reasons, too many red blood cells die, too many red blood cells are lost, or too few red blood cells are produced, and the normal balance of red blood cell count cannot be maintained, anemia will occur. Erythrocytes play an extremely important role in maintaining life activities and physical and mental health. The metabolic activities of the body’s systems and tissues require energy, which cannot be produced without oxygen. The oxygen needed by the body’s systems and tissues is mainly transported by the red blood cells. Therefore, the symptoms of anemia are a series of symptoms caused by the lack of oxygen, insufficient energy and low metabolic activity of the body’s system tissues. For example, lack of oxygen in the brain tissue due to anemia can cause dizziness, headache, fatigue, tinnitus, blurred vision, lack of concentration, insomnia and memory loss; lack of oxygen in the gastrointestinal tract can cause loss of appetite, bloating, nausea and constipation; lack of oxygen in the heart can cause panic and shortness of breath after activity; severe and long-term anemia can cause heart enlargement and heart failure. Oxygen deficiency in the reproductive system, mainly in women, is the reduction of ovarian function, which affects the secretion of female hormones and can show menstrual irregularities. According to the World Health Organization, about 20% of the world’s population has different degrees of anemia. The probability of anemia in China is higher than that in western countries, and among those who suffer from anemia, women are significantly higher than men. Why are women prone to anemia? Women are prone to anemia due to their physiology and personality. First, menstrual disorders are one of the main causes of anemia. Common clinical menstrual disorders include: functional menstrual disorders in adolescent women; functional menstrual disorders in menopausal women; women with uterine fibroids are often accompanied by excessive menstrual flow; and the stressful modern society, fast-paced work and heavy family responsibilities cause endocrine disorders in women’s bodies, which also lead to menstrual disorders. Menstrual disorders and excessive menstrual flow lead to excessive loss of red blood cells. If the newly generated red blood cells cannot compensate for the lost red blood cells, anemia will occur. Secondly, some fashionable but unhealthy lifestyles can also cause anemia: some women want to maintain their body shape and lose weight excessively, which makes the nutrition of the diet unbalanced and causes malnutrition in the body; drinking strong tea after meals will affect the absorption of hematopoietic raw materials, and picky eating will also affect the replenishment of hematopoietic raw materials. As a result, due to the lack of raw materials for hematopoiesis, red blood cells cannot be generated in time and on demand, resulting in anemia. Secondly, the pursuit of fashion is every woman’s hobby, love beauty and hairdressing. In some poor quality cosmetics, often containing harmful substances, poor quality cosmetics and hair dyes contain high levels of lead, which can hinder the production of red blood cells, and lead to anemia. How to self-condition women with anemia? I. Life conditioning Keeping a relaxed mood and timely adjustment to release work and life stress can reduce anemia caused by functional menstrual disorders. The main raw materials for blood production are iron, folic acid, vitamins and protein, etc. Eat more green vegetables and foods with high iron content, such as egg yolk, beef, liver and beans. It is not advisable to drink strong tea after meals, because the tannic acid in tea will hinder the absorption of iron. Three, recommended some common blood therapy, help prevent anemia: 1, lotus seeds cinnamon soup: lotus seeds, cinnamon meat 30 grams each, 20 grams of red dates, the amount of rock sugar.
