Where is the lymph?

Lymph is distributed in various parts of the human body and belongs to the body’s immune organs. For example, surface lymph is mainly distributed in the neck, armpits, groin, etc., while intracavitary lymph is distributed in the thoracic, abdominal, and pelvic cavities, etc. Lymph nodes are normally not palpable during palpation. Under normal circumstances, surface lymph nodes cannot be touched by palpation.
When the body is invaded by viruses or bacteria, the lymphatic system will automatically activate the immune function to fight. When the body fights against germs, the body will show symptoms, and there may be lymphatic enlargement and pain. Lymphoma, lymphatic metastases from malignant tumors, and connective tissue diseases may invade the lymph nodes and cause enlargement.
If you find enlarged lymph nodes, you should consult a doctor in time, complete the examination, make a clear diagnosis and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
