If your period has been intermittent for a month, the first recommendation is to rule out the possibility of pregnancy. If there is no pregnancy, consider that it is caused by abnormal uterine bleeding. It is recommended to have an ultrasound examination as soon as possible to find out the thickness of the endometrium, if it is greater than one centimeter on top of the intermittent bleeding. In this case, it is best to do a diagnostic curettage and send pathology for laboratory tests, and then proceed with treatment according to the results. If the endometrium is thin, it is recommended to give clinical treatment to stop the bleeding and to use progesterone at the same time, so that the bleeding will stop after taking it. After stopping the medication, there will be retreating bleeding. The purpose is to give pharmacological scraping treatment, and after scraping, the endometrium will undergo a good repair from the proliferative phase to the secretory phase.
