What’s with the heavy head sweating?

Sweating in the head can be caused by hyperthyroidism, diabetes, menopausal syndrome and other reasons.

1. Hyperthyroidism: When the patient suffers from hyperthyroidism, due to the increased metabolic level, the heat that needs to be dissipated will also become more, which will cause the body to sweat continuously to dissipate heat, thus appearing the symptom of sweating profusely on the head.

2. Diabetes mellitus: patients due to sugar metabolism disorder, will lead to autonomic nerve dysfunction, sympathetic nerve excitation, will make the secretion of sweat increase, and then lead to the patient head sweating serious.

3. Menopausal syndrome: after women enter menopause, ovarian function is weakened, hormone levels, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, vasoconstriction dysfunction and so on. The heat produced increases, but it is not possible to dissipate the heat in time, so the symptoms of hot flashes and profuse sweating on the head will occur.

In addition to the above, there are other conditions that may lead to profuse sweating of the head, such as the environment temperature is too high, etc. If physiological factors can be excluded, it is recommended to go to the hospital for checkups, and follow the doctor’s instructions to carry out targeted treatment in a timely manner, do not treat the disease on your own, so as not to delay the course of the disease.
