A newborn’s voice suddenly becomes hoarse, possibly due to dry indoor air, intense crying, or a cold.
1. Dry indoor air: If the weather is dry, it may cause the mucous membrane secretion of the throat to increase, or even mucous membrane edema, appearing hoarse, pay attention to keep the indoor air moist.

3. Colds: After a newborn gets cold or is infected by a family member with a cold, the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract may become congested and edematous, with increased secretions, which is also a cause of hoarseness.
