All surgeries, including open and lumpectomy, are performed with drainage tubes, which are usually removed 3-5 days after surgery, or at the latest after 5 days. Minimally invasive surgery for thyroid cancer is considered to be lumpectomy without scar or with relatively little scar. These surgeries have no scar on the surface of the neck, but all internal operations are the same as open surgery, only the path is different, and lumpectomy minimally invasive cosmetic surgery does not aggravate the damage.
