A puncture test is an invasive test in which human tissue is selected for pathologic testing. The needles for puncture examination mainly include fine needles, thick needles, hollow needles, etc. Generally, according to the different parts of the human body, the appropriate puncture needles are selected, and human tissues are taken under local anesthesia with puncture needles to carry out pathological examinations. The puncture sites include pericardiocentesis, abdominal puncture, liver puncture, kidney puncture, etc. The diagnostic value is relatively high because of its ability to detect organic lesions. In case of lumbar puncture, bone marrow puncture, etc., it can be performed directly under the naked eye. In the case of puncture examination of internal tissues and organs of the body, the lymph nodes or tumor tissues are usually punctured under the guidance of ultrasound or CT, and sent to the pathology room for pathological examination to determine whether the tumor is malignant or not, and whether there is any metastasis to the lymph nodes, so as to formulate further treatment plans. If puncture examination is needed, it is recommended to go to the hospital for standardized examination under the guidance of the doctor, so as not to cause abnormalities.
