The pain on both sides of the patient’s thighs may be due to the following reasons: first, muscle strain: may be seen in excessive sports and more strenuous physical activities, which can cause the accumulation of lactic acid at the thigh muscles, and therefore can cause soreness and pain in the thighs. Second, bursitis: mainly due to often crossed legs, or often sleep in the side position, there will be bursa by the thigh rotor bone extrusion, so there will be pain, soreness and swelling of the thigh rotor area. Third, the skin nerve compression: for example, the anterior lateral femoral skin nerve at the iliac crest is compressed, which will cause abnormal skin sensation in the anterior lateral thigh, and sometimes local numbness and tingling sensation can occur.
