Symptoms of lychee poisoning

Lychee itself has no toxins, but eating too much of it can cause symptoms similar to poisoning. If a large amount of lychee is eaten at once, it may lead to reactive hypoglycemia in the body, resulting in symptoms such as dizziness, headache, generalized cold sweating, weakness of the limbs or nausea, and blurred vision. There may also be digestive symptoms, such as abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain, diarrhea and other symptoms. These symptoms can be gradually relieved by giving proper rest or by inducing vomiting to vomit out the lychee, or by drinking more water or using intravenous rehydration, which can also gradually relieve the symptoms.
