Is it dangerous to have a high pressure of 170 and a low pressure of 110? What can I do?

Since the normal blood pressure fluctuates around 90~140mmHg/60~90mmHg, high pressure of 170mmHg and low pressure of 110mmHg is significantly higher than the normal blood pressure, which belongs to a relatively dangerous situation, and needs to take antihypertensive medication immediately for treatment, such as captopril tablets of 20mg sublingual, or nifedipine extended-release tablets of 20mg orally.
When the blood pressure value exceeds 140/90mmHg, it is called hypertension. Generally, the causes of elevated blood pressure include genetic factors, mental and environmental factors, lifestyle factors, and the effects of medications. At the initial stage of hypertension, there may be no complaint of discomfort or the symptoms are not obvious, usually manifested as dizziness, head swelling, headache, neck stiffness, fatigue and panic.
When blood pressure is found to be elevated, especially when it is as high as 170/110mmHg, one should go to the hospital immediately and take medication under the guidance of a physician to avoid delaying the condition, and at the same time, pay attention to closely monitor the blood pressure.
