At present, there is no immunotherapeutic drug for colon cancer, and most of them adopt comprehensive treatment mainly based on surgery. After diagnosis, the main treatment for colon cancer is surgical resection, which is often supplemented by chemotherapy, targeted therapy and other treatment modalities. If the tumor can be completely resected, radical resection is preferred. If the tumor cannot be completely resected, palliative tumor reduction surgery or colonic bypass surgery can be considered to relieve complications such as intestinal obstruction. Chemotherapy is one of the important comprehensive treatments for colon cancer, including neoadjuvant chemotherapy, postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy, etc., which can improve the surgical resection rate of the tumor, achieve the effect of reducing recurrence and improving prognosis. In colon cancer, molecular targeted drugs mainly include monoclonal antibody against vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) receptor and monoclonal antibody against epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR).
