Pelvic floor muscle testing is performed with the help of an instrument that is inserted into the vagina or through anal contractions to diagnose the looseness of the pelvic floor muscles, which may be mildly painful. Pelvic floor muscle examination is usually done through ultrasound, placing the test instrument into the vagina to diagnose whether the pelvic floor muscle is loose or not, there may be slight pain during the process of insertion of the instrument into the vagina; or through the patient’s anal contraction, to check the dilatation force of the vagina and the anus, and then diagnose the degree of the pelvic floor muscle laxity accordingly. If pelvic floor muscle relaxation is diagnosed, it can be treated with physical modalities such as pelvic floor muscle training, electrical stimulation, laser, etc. when the condition is mild; when the condition is more serious, it can be treated with pelvic floor muscle repair surgery. If patients have symptoms of pelvic floor muscle relaxation, they should go to regular hospitals in a timely manner and be treated under the guidance of a doctor, so as not to affect their health.
