In clinical practice, the treatment period for tuberculosis is relatively long. Generally, the main drugs chosen during the consolidation period are isoniazid and rifampin. The treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis is mainly for early initial treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis, choosing three or more drugs, such as isoniazid, rifampin, ethambutol, pyrazinamide, streptomycin, etc., which require continuous treatment for about 4-6 months, followed by the consolidation period, choosing isoniazid and rifampin, and then continuous treatment for about 2-3 months can generally achieve complete cure.
