About Breast Fibroids

Breast fibroids are benign tumors that occur in the fibrous tissue and glandular epithelium in the lobules of the breast, and are the most common benign tumors of the breast, accounting for about 3/4 of all benign tumors of the breast. Although benign, it brings great trouble to patients’ lives and has the possibility of malignancy, which seriously threatens patients’ health. Experts remind us that the condition should be treated in time. The gynecological disease of mammary fibroids is a nightmare for women, and if you don’t grasp the right care, you can get sick even if you are carefully sheltered. Mammary fibroids as a high prevalence of women’s breast disease, it can still have the possibility of recurrence after the cure. That’s why mammary fibroids also need to be reviewed regularly! Breast fibroadenoma is the most common benign tumor in breast disease, which is caused by the proliferation of epithelial and fibrous tissues, mostly solitary, with multiple cases accounting for 15%. The incidence rate is the first among benign breast tumors, accounting for about 75% of benign tumors, most of which are benign breast tumors and a few of which can become malignant. Most of them are benign breast tumors, and a few of them may become malignant. They are more likely to occur in young women who have a high level of ovarian function and disorderly regulation, during menstruation and in women of any age, mostly between 18-30 years old. Breast lumps are often the only symptom of breast fibroadenoma The main clinical manifestation of breast fibroadenoma is breast lumps, and in most cases, breast lumps are the only symptom of this disease. Most lumps are unintentionally felt or detected during physical examination and are usually painless and do not change with the menstrual cycle. In a few cases, fibroadenoma of the breast is accompanied by breast enlargement, which may lead to premenstrual breast pain and discomfort. Clinical manifestations of breast fibroids: Breast fibroids are mostly painless breast lumps, round or oval in shape, with smooth surface, clear borders, pushable, and no adhesion to skin and deep tissues, and no enlargement of axillary lymph nodes. It is more common in the upper outer quadrant of the breast, generally more common above the breast than below, and more common laterally than medially. It is generally slow growing, painless or only slightly distended, dull pain, the patient may not usually feel anything. The causes of breast fibroids are closely related to daily life. 1. Imbalance of estrogen levels. If the estrogen level is relatively or absolutely elevated, the over-stimulation of estrogen level can lead to abnormal proliferation of epithelial and mesenchymal components of breast ducts to form tumors. 2. Local breast tissue is overly sensitive to estrogen. The sensitivity of normal breast tissues to estrogen varies, and tissues with high sensitivity are prone to disease. The sensitivity of breast tissues to estrogen stimulation differs from woman to woman, and women who are sensitive to estrogen stimulation have a much higher chance of getting the disease. 3. Dietary and physical factors such as high-fat and high-energy diet, obesity and liver dysfunction increase estrogen in the body. This in turn stimulates the proliferation of epithelial and interstitial fibrous tissue in the breast ducts, causing the disease. 4.Hereditary tendency. There are several hereditary cases of breast fibroids in clinical practice. Health tip: Although breast fibroids are benign tumors, if treatment is not timely, breast fibroids may become malignant at any time, which may lead to malignant tumors of the breast, that is, breast cancer. Breast cancer is a serious breast disease that threatens the life and health of most patients.
