Feeling a little pain below the ribs may be caused by the following reasons: 1. It may be caused by long-term pressure here, such as the patient lying on the side or prone to one side for a long time, which may cause long-term pressure on a certain part of the ribs, resulting in inflammation, which may lead to the pain. 2. It may be caused by the costal chondromalacia, such as the patient has been exposed to cold here in the past, or there are old injuries, which may result in sterile inflammation around the costal cartilage, and thus lead to the pain. 3. It may result in aseptic inflammation around the rib cartilage, which may lead to pain. 3. It may be caused by the injury here, such as the patient’s inadvertent direct impact here, which may cause bone contusion, or even fracture, which may lead to pain. 4. It may be caused by the lesion of the organs under the rib cage, such as in the thoracic cavity due to the cardiac disease, or the emergence of pneumonia, tuberculosis, and thus lead to pain. 5. A type of lung disease, which in turn leads to pain. And in the quarter ribs, it may be due to liver, spleen, gallbladder and other parts of the disease, resulting in hidden pain around the ribs.
